And, of course…

…Shooting Star Amusements Will Be There!

Summer fun in BC isn’t complete without a fabulous midway. What we love most is the miles and miles of smiles as people ride and play. Bring the kids and enjoy the Gone Fishing game, the Prize Factory, and Balloon Pop, to name a few. Whether you like games of chance or games of skill, there’s something for you there.

Then get on the rides. Shooting Star offers something for everyone, from the  Sizzler to the Berry-Go-Round, from the Tilt-A-Whirl to the classic Ferris Wheel.

Midway Location and Wrist Bands

Head to 701 Carson Avenue at LeBourdais Park in Quesnel. Tickets go on sale before the midway opens. But save yourself a ton of time, hassle and money by getting wristbands that enable you to ride all day! Thrifty Thursday gets you a discount, too!

Community Pride and Parade

Quesnel shines for Billy Barker Days. The city gets dolled up, businesses get decorated, people dress in 1890s costumes, and there’s a ton of free entertainment.

Be sure to attend the annual parade at 10am on Saturday July 18th. Set up your comfy camping chair to cheer on the marching bands, floats, community groups, happy kids, vintage cars and trucks, you name it.
