With thrilling rides, cool games, tasty food and thirst-quenching drinks in the carnival, the day will pass by full of smiles and laughter. Plan ahead, and let the fun begin by choosing the best option to enjoy the carnival without a fuss!
Tickets or wristbands… Torn between the two? Read on and find out which will work better for you.
Tickets: The Pros and Cons
Cost
A single ticket only costs $1.25. Each ride requires three to four tickets per rider for the smaller children’s rides and four to five tickets per rider for the larger rides, that adults or teenagers can also enjoy. The Zipper requires six tickets regardless of the age of the rider.
Packages
Save $5 if you purchase the Super Star Savings Package, which has 40 tickets and costs only $45. You may also choose the Star Package with 20 tickets for $25.
Non-refundable but No Expiration
Unused tickets are non-refundable. But, hey! They have no expiration! Tickets are valid at any of the events. How cool is that? Wouldn’t it be nice to return next year, and use those spare tickets? Just hang onto them for next year!
Valid for All Rides
Shooting Star Amusements tickets are valid for ALL of our rides. We take away the hassle of having to worry about different types of tickets by keeping it simple. The only thing that is different is the number of tickets you will need per ride.
Disadvantages of Tickets
As much as it’s convenient to use tickets in the carnival, there are drawbacks that you may want to consider.
May Cost More
If you’re the type of person who wants to try all the rides, then you may end up buying more tickets, causing you to pay more than just getting a wristband. The best thing to do is plan ahead and calculate what will be best for you.
Maybe Time-Consuming
You’re having fun and you realize you’ve run out of tickets! You either have to watch others enjoy the rides, or parents hear complaints from their frustrated kids or you have to line up to buy more tickets.
Depending on the event, day and time the length of the lines at the ticket booth may vary. You can take a chance, plan ahead so you know exactly how many tickets you’ll need or buy an unlimited ride wristband.
Wristbands: The Pros and Cons
Purchasing a wristband can be heaven-sent. Find out why:
Cost and exclusive event promotions
A wristband may cost $30-40 per person depending on the event, the hours and the number of rides available. On every event page and on our Facebook and Instagram pages we often have specials and contests to save money on wristbands…and we even giveaway FREE wristbands!
All-Day Ride Access
Because a ride or two won’t be enough, an all-day ride pass is what you need! Never run out of tickets. Having a wristband means you can enjoy unlimited ride access in the carnival. Who wouldn’t want unlimited rides access? Just present the wristband at the entrance of each ride. Make sure to never lose your wristband or take it off as this means they are no longer valid!
Cost-effective, Time-efficient and Convenient
Imagine that you don’t need to line up for another set of tickets. You only have to show your wristband and have non-stop fun. No need to spend more for more tickets. No more hassle on your part. This saves you time, money and energy. So, you’ll have more reason to savor the moment with your family or friends. Just take advantage of the specials and promotions for most events. Check out the events page for more information.
Disadvantages of Wristbands
An all-day pass may sound tempting, but here are things you should know before buying.
Non-replaceable
If mishaps happen, such as lost, damaged or removal of the wristband, it won’t be replaced.
Keep an eye on your wristband if you don’t want to spoil the fun. Remind your children not to pull on it.
Non-refundable
Once wristbands have been purchased we are not able to refund or exchange for another day or tickets. Wristbands are not refundable in the event of inclement weather.
With the two options presented, have you made up your mind?
It all depends on your preference. If you want value for your money, and to maximize access to all rides, then check the weather and our open hours, and choose a wristband.
If you prefer the thrill of buying tickets, giving them to the operator, and having the chance to keep unused tickets for the next event, then buy some tickets. What’s important is that you have fun!
