Bring the family to the 2017 Rock Creek and Boundary Fall Fair on September 16th and 17th! It Sure is the “Biggest Little Country Fair Around”!
The Rock Creek and Boundary Fall Fair is famous for its competitions and exhibitions on everything country. Come see the best of 4H with beef showmanship, ranch horses and clothing… delectable local farm produce… and all creatures big and small from sheep and swine to guinea pigs, rabbits and poultry.
See amazing horse shows like Gymkhana, the Heavy Horse Show, and show jumping. Cheer at the friendly but highly competitive tournaments of skill and strength at the Lawn Mower Races, Team Roping, Mutton Bustin’, and Chicken Scramble. And learn from the best in arts and crafts country talent – you’ll see home canning, cooking, wine making, and all kinds of needlecraft.
Stomp and Clap the Whole Weekend Long!
Music is a huge part of Boundary country life. So it’s no surprise that one of the biggest country stars Johnny Cash will be honoured – in this case by the amazing David James and Big River band.
Meanwhile, the winner of the 2015 Global Country Star Search, Ben Klick, will get you off your feet in no time. And you’ll be swaying and rocking to Devon Coyote’s mix of Roots, Rock and Blues. Plus folk and pop singer Eryn Robertson will perform, and you’ll see the home-grown blues country rock band Cost Of Dying.
A Great Lineup of Highly Entertaining Shows!
Les Folles Jambettes (aka Crazy Legs) will be high-kicking everyone’s spirit way up with dance numbers in the Cancan style of the 1800s. These dedicated dancers come from all walks of life, and they hail from Grand Forks, BC. The troupe has performed for many events across the province and abroad.
And Chris the Clown will be ensuring everyone at the Rock Creek and Boundary Fall Fair is smiling. Kids and adults just love this comedian-magician. See him make balloon animals and doing his silly clown antics.
Last Chance for Shooting Star Rides and Games for 2017!
“All of the kids from around here really look forward to the midway coming each year because it’s the only time many of them ever get a chance to go on rides like this,” said Lisa Sims, Treasurer of the Rock Creek Boundary Fair Association in an Osoyoos Times article last year.
Well, no more waiting! We’ve got the big thrill rides. We’ve got the fun kid rides. We’ve got the classic Zipper. Try your luck for a prize on our midway games. Pop some balloons or shoot out a star or whatever takes your fancy. Then get those famous mini-donuts and many more mouth-watering delights from our outstanding food vendors.
All Day Rides With Wristbands
You can ride all day with our wristband passes. Only $35 on Saturday and $33 on Sunday. GST is included! Those represent big savings and are WAY more convenient than buying individual tickets.
Make the Rock Creek Boundary Fall Fair a Family Get-Away Weekend!
Every year people from all over south central BC flock to the Rock Creek Boundary Fall Fair. That includes all of our Shooting Star team. We can’t wait to be back and see everyone smiling again! It’s our last hurrah for 2017, so let’s whoop it up!
