2016’s Must Visit Spring/Summer Events in Penticton & South Okanagan

From spectacular ocean views to breathtaking mountain vistas, British Columbia certainly has no shortage of natural attractions. This year, as always, BC’s stunning Okanagan region comes alive in Spring and Summer with its amazing scenery, fabulous produce and wine, and the most fun events. Penticton especially, in the South Okanagan, has some awesome things on the calendar that will put a smile on every face. And we are proud to be bringing our midway carnival fun to Penticton’s Spring and Summer events for 2016. Fill up the tank, strap in, and get driving into the interior of Beautiful British Columbia.

Penticton Spring Fling

The Spring weather so far for 2016 has been outstanding, making conditions perfect for festival fun.

Spring is when we Canadians put away our heavy coats, get out of the house, do some planting and gardening, and have plenty of fun in the sun with family and friends. In fact, we feel so strongly about this season of rebirth  that we essentially created the Penticton Spring Fling.

From May 13th-15th, head to the South Okanagan Event Centre at 853 Eckhardt Ave. W. Penticton. The fun starts on May 13 at 4pm, and May 14 and 15 at noon. We’re bringing our A-game with midway fun and carnival rides for the whole family. Get your wristbands for all day riding at significant discounts. It’s a great way to wet your whistle for the rest of the events that summer 2016 has in store.

Penticton Peach Festival

Going into its 69th year, the Penticton Peach Festival will again be one of the most popular events of the summer season and it’s easy to see why. Peachfest truly does live up to the tags of having something for everyone and being an awesome community event.

From August 4-7, Penticton’s premier summer event gets rolling. The midway action will be at Lakeshore Drive and Martin Street, while there will be incredible stuff happening in many locations, especially centering around the shore of Okanagan Lake.  There will be fun on the water at the Ogopogo Regatta, a sand castle competition, even the Reel Peach Film Festival.  With live bands, cooking demonstrations, markets, and of course the rides and midway games, the peaches aren’t the only sweet things at Penticton’s most popular summer event.

More Spring/Summer Events for 2016

With spring in its infancy and summer around the corner, the 2016 carnival season is filled with fun events. Don’t be a stranger. Come see us, thrill to the rides, laugh at the games, munch on the old and new favourite foods, and bring your smiles.  We’ll see you in Penticton and anywhere else we’re bringing our midway in 2016.
