YES! The 2015 Rock Creek Fall Fair is ON!

Yes, the fair is ON! Spread the word far and wide!

Forget the rumours and get the facts. The fairgrounds were 100% untouched by the big Rock Creek fires this summer. Therefore the 2015 Rock Creek Fall Fair is going ahead. This year it is doubly important for the community, and for those who lost their homes, that everybody turn up and show their support!

So, be there! Saturday September 19th and Sunday September 20th at the Rock Creek Fairgrounds on Kettle River Road E.

Bring Your Smiles

Shooting Star Amusements will be there with its exciting midway. We always love to see miles and miles of smiles. This year, it is more important than ever. After Rock Creek was hit so hard by the devastating fires, the 2015 fall fair is all about for bringing smiles back to people’s faces.

The Midway is Packed With Fun

Our midway opens Saturday 11:00am to 9:30pm and Sunday 11:00am to 5:00pm. Get your wristband passes to save you tons of time and money on lineups and rides. Check out the value here.

Bring the kids of all ages for rides and games galore! Everyone needs to let their hair down and this is the best way to do it. There are rides and games for the very youngest, for the thrill-seeking adrenaline junkies, and for everyone in between.

Entertainers are Lined Up

If there’s one medium that helps bring people together again after tough times, it’s music. And the entertainers at the 2015 Rock Creek Fall Fair plan to do just that. Saturday night of the 19th will see the Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band Willy & The Poorboys rock the stage.

Check the scheduled stage times for Drifter from Kelowna, The Trips (the Okanagan’s Band of the Summer), the power sounds of Devon Coyote, the country cool of Lisa Nicole, and the Borderline Swing Band playing almost every style you can think of.

Other performers are chomping at the bit to take the stage. The BMX team will get your heart racing. Laugh at P.T. the Clown, marvel at ventriloquist Neale Bacon, and check out the legs flying with dance troupe Les Folles Jambettes.

500 Dollar Prize Bonanza and Much, Much More

If you enter one exhibit at the Rock Creek Fair, you can be in the running to win $500!

Remember that this is a true country fair, so come out and support its heart and soul events. Cheer on competitors and performers in the arena – livestock competitions, horse shows, lawn mower racing, kids farm games, and a great trailer race.

If you prefer arts and crafts, it’s all happening. There will be wine, needlecraft displays, cooking and preserving classes, photography, art in almost every medium, and much more.

Carnival Cuisine

Because it’s Fall, the Rock Creek Fair will be bursting with delicious ripe produce. While you sample the Okanagan’s best wines, beers, fruits and vegetables, remember the classics of the carnival – the mini-donuts, candy floss and corndogs!

The Rock Creek Fall Fair is always important, but especially so in 2015. Tell everyone you know to get down to this incredible event, show your support, and bring some much-needed smiles and laughter to Rock Creek!
