Bulkley Valley Exhibition 2018_99 Years of Family – Friendly Fun
This year Bulkley Valley Exhibition is celebrating it’s 99th year! That’s an amazing accomplishment that we’ll be celebrating from August 23rd to August 26th.
Regular Bulkley Valley Exhibition attendees and Smithereens know that BVX is set in the beautiful town of Smithers, BC at the Smithers Fairground. For newcomers to this amazing exhibition, it is located at 2701 Pacific Street, corner of Tatlow Road and Pacific Street.

The BVX is filled with tons of attractions and entertainment, including a rodeo on all 4 days!

Shooting Star Amusements are proud to be Grand Champion Sponsors of the Bulkley Valley Exhibition and will have full range of midway rides, games and fun food for you to enjoy throughout the carnival.
This year’s theme is ‘Wagon Wheels to Ferris Wheels’ and we’re guaranteeing tons of fun on our Ferris Wheel, one of the most popular rides of the exhibition.
We love giving back, and this year is no different! This year our prizebook contest, where you can win all day wristband passes closes on August 21st!

This 4-day extravaganza kicks off on Thursday August 23rd and it’s only right that you come out and ride like mad into the night!
Thursday 23rd: Open 3pm – Midnight
Wristbands are $35.
Friday 24th: Opens at Noon

The Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show
The Canine Stars are back at BVX this year, after stealing the show in 2017! These pups are super special because they are rescue dogs from streets and shelters across North America.
The BVX Parade
The parade happens throughout the duration of the event; you can enter or just support and celebrate along the route. Watch for us in the Parade – we give away everything from candy to ride tickets!
Rodeo at The BVX
The Rodeo is a fair goer favorite at the BVX. Rodeo events take place every day of the exhibition and who doesn’t love a good rodeo?
