Trail Silver City Days 2018
Celebrate Trail Silver City Days 2018 and indulge in the fun and amusement of the carnival starting from Wednesday May 9th to Sunday May 13th at Esplanade Avenue in Trail British Columbia V1R 4T2. Get amazing food, entertainment, rides and an all-round fun experience at the cheapest prices. We have very affordable wristbands for all day rides for only $35 (per day, per person).
What is Trail Silver City Days?
Trail Silver City Days is an event that is packed with fun, enjoyment, a parade, fireworks, and fun rides with delicious food and a lot of amazing free shows.
Every year this celebration happens on a homecoming occasion and to celebrate and enjoy Trail’s culture, traditions and occasions. People gather at the carnival to enjoy the rides, games, food and watch amazing fireworks at night. Also, a beautiful parade can be enjoyed. There are sports events, events organized for kids, music events, the Miss Trail pageant event and so much more.
Where is Trail?
Trail, British Columbia is a city surrounded by the Columbia River, the closest city is Kelowna. Surrounded by mountains and the tranquility of nature, this place experiences a hot and humid climate and moderate winter seasons. The Trail area is covered by five communities each having their own tradition, culture, history, microclimate but all are common in certain factors like friendly, cozy, safe areas with a lovely ambiance.

The Shooting Star Midway on Esplanade – May 9th to May 13th (Wednesday-Sunday)
On the street you can enjoy rides such as the Zero Gravity, Zipper, the Sizzler and more. For the kids take them for joy on the Go-Gator Coaster, the Berry-Go Round, the train and more!
Toonie Swim – May 9th, 5pm-7pm
Enjoy a nice swim at the Trail Aquatic Center for only $2.
The AM Ford / Colombo Lodge Bocce Classic – May 10th – 12th – Game Times TBD
If you are a pro in bocce or just playing it for the first time, the fun level will never disappoint you here.
KidZone, sponsored by TRUE Consulting – May 12th Saturday, from 12noon-4 pm
This corner is situated inside the Sidewalk Cafe ideal for kids of any age to come over and have fun.
Critter Day – An event hosted by the Fish & Wildlife Compensation Program (FWCP) and the Kootenay Conservation Program – Saturday May 12th from 1pm – 5pm
If you are a nature lover, then Critter Day will be your thing. You can learn about the Trail area and Pend d’Oreille Valley. Get the opportunity to see numerous aquatic bugs, insects, native plants, local amphibians, reptiles, snakes and more. You will also get to see the Gyr-Peregrine Falcon and the Great Horned Owl which are very rare special species.
Greater Trail Minor Hockey 3 x 3 Street Hockey Tournament for Kids, sponsored by McDonalds – Saturday, May 12th Exclusively for kids which requires pre-registration for $5.
Silver City Days Fun Run – Sunday, May 13th, 9am
Start your Sunday by taking up this marathon. You can choose either the 10k or 5k run or the 5k walk. The event starts from Gyro Park.
Trail Parks and Recreation Pickleball Tournament – Sunday, May 13th, 9am.
Pay a fee of $15.75 per person and join this tournament at Willi Krause fieldhouse.

This will talk place at the SideWalk Cafe in the Trail Memorial Centre Arena. Gather around and see how the stompers take over the stage and entertain you.

This is for everyone over the age of 19. Experience the new era rock and roll music with Gary Morissette and the Unknown Culprits and Scarlet Sway. Book your tickets early.

This event will be happening at the SideWalk Cafe where the stage will be ruled by all the local talent. An evening filled with good music dance and entertainment followed by the presentation of good food and gelato.

Wristbands are the best deal if you are planning to take in lots of rides!
When you buy an all-day Wristband for only $35 you can ride all day to your heart’s content! The wristbands can be purchased at the Carnival Ticket Booth, for only $35 per person, per day.
Know before you go! Did you know…
- Each Wristband is valid for only one person.
- Wristbands are valid only on the day of purchase and not on any other days.
- The Wristbands are not transferable under any circumstances.
- Wristbands which are broken will not be accepted at the rides, and they are not refundable. Our Wristbands are made with very strong adhesive. Deliberate and immense force would be required to break the band. If you break the band. Broken wristbands become void and you would have to purchase a new wristband.
- To access the rides the rider must have be wearing the wristband and display the Hand stamp.
- The Wristband provides the wearer access only to the rides they meet the height and weight requirements. Please be sure to measure up at the Ticket Booth to determine eligibility for your family.
- There are no refunds or exchanges on wristbands.
