This is Lumby’s annual event that shows how a real country fair is done. Family and community are at the heart of it every year, and Lumby Days 2016 is no exception.

Forget the crowds and parking hassles. Head into the Okanagan for the weekend of Friday June 10th to Sunday June 12th, 2016, and enjoy Shooting Star’s midway fun set against a truly amazing backdrop.

In its 61 years of running, Lumby Days has had some pretty exciting themes – from Family to Frontier Days, from Mexican Fiesta to High-Tech Redneck. 2016’s theme “Celebrating Our History” is about praising everything that has made  Lumby so great. It’s a chance for the whole community, and thousands from miles around, to grow in fellowship and goodwill.

It’s almost time for Lumby Days 2016 and we’re all pumped. From Friday June 10th through Sunday June 12th, the epicentre at Glencaird Street and Park Avenue will ring with the sounds of laughter, squeals of delight, thrilling rides, and midway games. The air will be thick with the delicious aromas of your favourite carnival foods and local vendors cooking up treats.

Four Little Known Facts About Lumby

By now it should be quite clear why Lumby Days is such a huge draw. But what REALLY makes Lumby great are some things you may not be aware of. While nearby Vernon, Kelowna, Salmon Arm and the Shuswap region get more of the publicity, Lumby is a fascinating place…
