What’s New Shooting Star? What’s the Same?
“So…What’s New?”
As a Carnival Company we are always asked “What’s New?” Each year we add something new to our Carnival Midway, but it’s not always something to ride. It does take a long time to build a Carnival from scratch. If you were to Google how much it costs to buy a new ride, I am sure you would be shocked to see just how much they cost.
In our Ten year history we have done some growing up and had our fair share of the ups and downs of any thrilling roller coaster ride! When asked, “What’s New?” We can answer well, a new amusement ride, or a new amusement game or some new and interesting fair food.
Sometimes it’s a new generator or new Semi –Trucks or tractors or new electrical cable, although those are not the new things anyone really wants to know about. Fortunately this year, to celebrate our success and to bring you all what you really want to see.…We have a new thrilling and spectacular Kamikaze Ride! A sure hit with the teenagers and thrill seekers!

This ride offers a whole new view of Okanagan Lake that we know you have never seen before. If you don’t have this on your Bucket list – you should add this – Dangle upside down, while trying to keep your cotton candy and hot dogs in place and take a nice look at Okanagan Lake.
What else is new? Other than the Carnival Ride?
We are having a weekly Photo Contest at each of our events. You can win a Wristband to ride all day (at any of our events). It’s valid through next year. Each photo you enter will give you a chance in our draw for an iPad for the end of the carnival season. We have already enjoyed some outstanding photos from the general public, and also from our own staff (they have their own photo contest for an iPad).
Same old, same old? What’s the same you ask?
Well not the price of fuel, or the cost of the Ferries, or wages…that is certainly not the same old, same old.
What is the “same old” with our Carnival Company is that we offer and continually deliver the highest level of customer service. This does not come from a new machine, but from the pure passion and commitment of our great crew members who bring the fun to you fair and festival. You can tell they truly love what they do.
