Tips to Save Money at Rutland May Days 2017

Rutland May Days ProposalRutland May Days 2017 is fast approaching! We know the word gets overused, but Kelowna’s best annual carnival festival is going to be AWESOME!

Going into its 58th year, making it Kelowna’s longest running festival, Rutland May Days for 2017 will run from May 19th to 21st.

Of course, while the memories made at Rutland May Days are priceless, it’s certainly true that some families feel like an outing to the carnival can leave a big hole in their wallets. It’s not because the event itself is expensive; it’s more about knowing how to keep track of dollars and make them stretch farther. We have some easy tips to help you take the family to this year’s event, get the most out of it, and not break the bank.

Sometimes the Best Things in Life are Free

Everyone loves free! There is so much you can enjoy at Rutland May Days without spending anything (or very little). Catching the fun of the annual parade and listening to the live music in Centennial Park are perfect examples. You can also wander the community market, just taking in the energy and excitement.

Admission to the Park is Only $3.00

That’s right. Only $3.00 to enter Centennial Park and soak up the electric atmosphere. All proceeds from that fee go directly to the Rutland Park Society to make the community even better.
