New Rides at Shooting Star Amusements

When you get a new amusement ride you need a few things in place to add it to your Carnival Company. First you need Events and then you need capital to buy the rides and then trucks that tow them. Those are just a few of the stepping off points….

Then the fun begins…You need to decide what ride is best for your customers. There are some classic rides in the Carnival business that have been around for decades. They are still being manufactured and used in the Carnival and Fair business today because they are great rides! These are the Classic rides, the truly proven rides that appeal to families.

We have been adding Spectacular Thrill Rides like the Kamikaze and the Zipper to our growing Show. Teenagers love these rides! We have also added new kiddie rides to our Inventory. These rides soon become favorites for little people.

This year, we return to the classics, like the Ferris Wheel, the Sizzler and the Bumper Cars. The Old School Classic Rides are proven winners because they appeal to all members of the family. They continue to be popular and are truly loved by all.

One of my favorite rides as a child was the Tilt-A-Whirl. The Tilt-A-Whirl was first invented in 1926 by Herbert Sellner, of Sellner Manufacturing. You will find a Tilt-A-Whirl on most Carnivals Midways. The Tilt is a Classic Amusement ride that can be enjoyed by families young and old.

New Ride for 2015 Tilt A Whirl (800x600)

We spent a fair amount of time hunting, until we finally found a Tilt-A-Whirl that would meet our high standards. We have been refurbishing it all winter getting it ready for the 2015 Carnival Season. It will be a great new addition to our Carnival Company and to fairs and festivals throughout BC.

We look forward to seeing the happy smiling faces of every member of the Family while they spin and twirl and whirl around on our Tilt-A-Whirl in 2015!
